📣 NEW YEAR – NEW RECRUIT – LIAM McKENNA 📣
Bonbeach FNC are excited to announce we caught a Bull Shark!
Liam McKenna comes to us having put together an impressive resume of achievements at state-league level, both in the WAFL and more recently in the VFL. Now in the MPFNL, he has quickly established himself as one of the leading mid fielders on the Peninsula and was selected in the Div 1 Team Of The Year in 2022.
Originally from WA, Liam represented Western Australia at the Under 18 National Titles in 2010, and then forged an impressive career playing in the WAFL for Peel Thunder and Perth.
Liam moved to Victoria to challenge his game and played VFL for Essendon and Port
Melbourne and significantly, was also a member of their VFL Leadership Groups.
Affectionally known as Bluey, we are fortunate to get such an outstanding player and leader to our club. Liam will take on an Assistant Coaching role as he looks to pass on
his wisdom and knowledge to our blossoming young midfield crew.
